Welcome to the site of the Grace Apostles Lutheran Church.
The Grace Apostles Lutheran Church professes the living Christian faith which is founded upon the Holy Word of God, the prophetic and apostolic books of the Old and New testaments, wherein Jesus Christ is the Chief Cornerstone, and which is set forth in Christendom's three oldest and chief creeds viz - the Apostles', the Nicene, and the Athanasian, and in the unaltered Augsburg Confession and other confessional books of the Lutheran Church such as the large and small Catechisms of Dr. Martin Luther, and holds fast that salvation is received by grace thru faith (Ephesians 2:8) as well that the plainly spoken, unchanging truth of the Holy Word of God is the only guide, in conformity to which all doctrine in this congregation is to be studied and adjudged.
Statement of Faith The Apostles' Creed
We believe in God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth:
And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried: He descended into hell, the third day He rose again from the dead, He ascended into heaven, and is seated on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty, whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
